This hilarious report pokes fun at two growing panics but takes seriously the message behind them. Tired old headlines that regurgitate fears of out of control drinking merge with war time ‘make do and mend’ as credit crunch reports scare us into tightening our belts. This Panic Room report features on WORLDbytes, the online magazine news channel created by volunteers at WORLDwrite. It aims to get behind the headlines and promote a people-first perspective on a wide-range of issues; the programme’s credo is “don’t shout at the telly, change the message on it”.
