Sales Funnel Creator Software
Systeme.io - Free
When considering a 100% free all-in-one online marketing platform solution, then it is well worth considering what syteme.io has on offer. It may also be worth comparing the free Systeme.io account with the free GrooveFunnels account, as depending on what it is you are looking for, will depend whether the free GrooveFunnels account or the free Systeme.io account will offer you the best value.
For example, GrooveFunnels offers unlimited e-commerce stores on the free account whereas Systeme.io does not offer any e-commerce stores, but then again Systeme.io entitles you to send unlimited emails whereas you can only send 2500 emails per month when utilising the free GrooveFunnels account.
Saying this, there is no reason why you cannot sign up for a free GrooveFunnels account and a free Systeme.io account and have the best of both worlds.
Some of the features offered by Systeme.io is a funnel builder, email marketing, online course builder, affiliate program, video hosting etc. Systeme.io of course also has paid options that offers more functionality and this is of course also true for GrooveFunnels. However, when it comes to the paid version, GrooveFunnels is unmatched in terms of the value it has on offer.

GetResponse - Free
Getresponse is an email marketing software that enables you to:
- create a mailing list and capture data
- send newsletters to the subscribers on your list
- automate your email marketing using 'autoresponders'
- create automation events based on users' behaviour
- view and analyze statistics in relation to your email campaigns - open rate, click-through rate, sales etc.
Getresponse also offers the following`;
A website builder, web push notifications, live chat, landing pages, webinars, signup forms, paid ads creator and automated sales funnels.
Despite sporting all this functionality, it is as an autoresponder where Getresponse really shines. For building sales funnels I will be much more inclined to utilise a specialised sales funnel builder like ClickFunnels and integrate Getresponse as an autoresponder.
It seems that Getresponse is aiming to follow in the footsteps of GrooveFunnels with the aim of becoming an all-in-one marketing platform, but nothing in the market place gets close to what GrooveFunnels has to offer in terms of an all-in-one marketing platform.
Although Getresponse can be used for free, I would certainly not recommend their free version, as the functionality is very limited and not worth it in my opinion. For a start I would recommend the basic package and if marketing automation in terms of user behaviour is required, then I do recommend the 'Plus" package.
Getresponse has been my number one autoresponder solution for many years and I can personally vouch for it as my number one recommendation.
BLOGGING + SEO TOOLS
Please note that 'Blogging + SEO Tools' also falls under the category of 'Essential Tools' but I decided that this category deserves its own heading. There are two options when considering the creation of a website and a blog. My recommendation is to either use WordPress or GrooveFunnels as they are both very versatile options, only limited to your imagination.
As we already covered GrooveFunnels under the "Essential Tools" section, I will now only focus on WordPress as a website creator and blogging solution. I personally host with a company called, Wealthy Affiliate (WA) that allows me to set up my website with a couple of clicks. You of course do not have to follow suit, as you are free to choose a hosting provider of choice, but you will then be required to install WordPress on their platform.
Recommended WP Theme
Astra Pro - $49
Astra in itself is a FREE WordPress theme which enjoys massive popularity due to it being incredibly lightweight, fast and highly customisable. It also comes with free templates to get you started.
ASTRA PRO, on the other hand, is a plugin that ads a ton of features to the ASTRA theme, which includes LearnDash integration, which makes it easy for you to create a beautiful website offering an online course.
You have the flexibility to turn features on or off, so you only use the features you need.
Recommended WP Plugin
Beaver Builder - $99 1st year then 40% off
If you really want to turn on the magic and add even more functionality to your Astra theme, then look no further than BeaverBuilder.
BeaverBuilder is a WordPress page builder and Astra is optimised for builders like BeaverBuilder and Elementor. With BeaverBuilder you can easily build any type of site, whether it be a Blog, E-Commerce site, Membership site or Landing Page.
BeaverBuilder pretty much works in the same way than Gutenberg, but has very unique blocks and features that you will not find anywhere else. Pre-built landing pages and opt in forms are available and can be imported with a click of a button and the opt-in forms integrates seemlessly with your autoresponder of choice.
BeaverBuilder also offers very interesting animation options for the pages and text you create, e.g. snow falling in the background. Jaaxy is a keyword and research platform that was developed by online marketers for online marketers. This keyword research tool enables you to find the best keywords you can rank for in your niche.
Jaaxy is super intuitive which makes this powerul keyword research tool a breeze to use. With Jaaxy you are getting one of the most advanced platforms in the industry for managing all aspects of keyword, website, competition, and market research.
The free version entitles you to 30 searches per month, which I personally do not think is of much value.
I highly recommend upgrading to Jaaxy Pro for the amount of $49 per month, once you start making a bit of money.
Alternatively when you join Wealthy Affiliate Premium, Jaaxy Lite will be included in your membership for free and the difference between Jaaxy Lite and Jaaxy Pro is pretty much negligible.
Best Recommended Hosting
A2 Hosting
Now this is one of the massive surprises as you will see explained in the video by Jack Chao, after he did extensive research on establishing the best WordPress hosting, not only in terms of speed, but overall. I personally host with Wealthy Affiliate (WA) as I will cover a littler later in this resource article where I stipulate very clearly why WA is my personal preference when it comes to a hosting solution.
Nevertheless, WA hosting is only applicable when you are interested in the WA online marketing training platform, WA online marketing community and the free use of the keyword research tool, Jaaxy as WA hosting is only available to WA members. If this is not your goal then A2 hosting is certainly the number one choice when it comes to a website hosting solution. I highly recommend you watch the video to see the extensive research that Jack Chao did to establish that A2 hosting is indeed the best hosting available for a very affordable price.
RECOMMENDED COURSES
In general I recommend you start out with affiliate marketing unless you have your mind set on E-Commerce and you have a clear vision in this regard. The reason for this is that the risk is much lower when selling other people's products and there is no need for you to invest in stock, pay for the branding of products, pay for shipping costs etc.
In general the cost involved of selling other people's products for commission requires a minimal investment. However, should you have your mind set on E-Commerce, then I will recommend some E-Commerce courses in this section, which includes the Amazon FBA model.
Affiliate Marketing Business Model

The Wealthy Affiliate community boasts more than 2.5 million members making it the biggest affiliate marketing platform out there.
This is a very unique platform in the sense that you will not get a better deal in terms of website hosting, website support, purchasing of domain names, unlimited domain emails etc. There is a very good reason why I am hosting my WordPress websites with WA and why I choose to buy my domain names from WA.
On top of this you have the ability to create your own blog posts on the WA platform where other members can interact with your WA blog articles and you can even create training for other WA members and you will get paid for the training you created depending on how popular and helpful WA members finds the training you created.
You are able to private message fellow WA members and there are also a 24/7 live chat available where you can interact with fellow WA members.
On top of this you are also provided free of charge with a very powerful keyword research tool, Jaaxy, which I utilise on a daily basis. As mentioned, this is included in your WA membership.
First and foremost Wealthy Affiliate is an online marketing platform that provides you with online marketing training, with the main focus on affiliate marketing. Although there is a lot of very valuable training provided here, the main strategy they teach is SEO which is a free way of generating organic traffic.
This method certainly works and is certainly a strategy that should be adopted by all online marketers, but unfortunately this strategy, although free, is a very time consuming strategy that takes quite a bit of time before you start seeing the fruits of your labour.
An online marketing platform like Legendary Marketer teach a hybrid strategy which relies on both paid and organic marketing strategies and for this reason you will see quicker results, although you are likely to spend quite a bit more money initially on paid marketing, whereas with WA paid marketing is not really preached, although certainly not ignored as a strategy.
One other very unique and very valuable practise in the WA community is the opportunity to ask other WA members to read your website articles and leave you a comment in exchange for returning the favour on their website articles. This gives WA members a massive advantage in terms of article and website SEO. This is very simple to do. There is a website comments thread in WA, so you simply post your article link there and whomever comments on your article leaves their article link in reply in order for you to return the favour.

I found Spocket to be an excellent integration with Shopify. Whereas Shopify provides the selling platform, Spocket provides the products that can be shipped locally or internationally with ease and it is pretty much an automated experience. If you are interested in utilising Shopify for E-commerce and you do not have your own products to sell, then I highly recommend you to check out Spocket. Best For Screen Recording
Camtasia Studio - $299.99
Camtasia is a screen recording and editing software that works on both Windows and Mac and is super easy to use, even for beginners. Camtasia is perfect for creating tutorial videos and this is personally my software of choice as the video editing capability is more than enough to create professional looking videos without the learning curve.
However, if your goal is to create cinema quality type videos then you should be looking at video editing softwares like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Sony Vegas Pro. These softwares are of course much more complicated to use and screen recording tutorial videos or creating videos that requires beginner editing capability is not the goal here.
A 30 day Camtasia trial is available and the Camtasia Education version is also available at a very reduced price for those that work in the education sector.
Best For Screen Recording
Screenflow - $149
Just like Camtasia, Screenflow is also best known as a screen recording, editing and tutorial creation software and just like I swear by Camtasia as my number one recommendation when it comes to screen recording and tutorial videos, in the same way many others swear by Screenflow.
This means that both Camtasia and Screenflow are excellent choices and many online marketers choose to use both Camtasia and Screenflow in order to combine the features on offer, in order to have the best of both worlds.
Screenflow is only for Mac users. There is also a Screenflow Plus package available, which includes stock media library for an additional $60.
You can try out Screenflow for free, before making a buying decision.
Professional Video Production (Gold Standard)
Adobe Premiere Pro - $20.99/month
Adobe Premiere Pro is the industry gold standard for video production and needless to say my number one recommendation for professional video creation. However, the catch is that Adobe Premiere Pro is certainly not for beginners, but for intermediate to advanced users. This is therefore not plug-and-play like Camtasia or Screenflow which can be easily used by beginners.
Adobe Premiere Pro does not have screen record capability and for this reason, if this is a requirement, then you will have to use an additional screen recording software. Saying this, there are many free good quality screen recording softwares out there that can be utilised.
Adobe Premiere Pro can be used on both Windows and Mac and is only available through a monthly subscription. Adobe Premiere Pro is the gold standard for film and television productions.
Video Compositing Software
Adobe After Effects - $20.99/month
I have included a very informative video for you to explain exactly what the difference is between Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. In short Adobe After Effects is for video compositing creating stunning video effects that can be used inside of Adobe Premiere Pro, which is a tool utilised for the editing and sequencing of your visuals.
Often professional video creators will use both Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro together to create their final film or television production.
Professional Video Production
Final Cut Pro - $299
Final Cut Pro probably does not need any introduction. For a very long period of time Final Cut Pro has been recognised as one of the top professional video creation tools on the market and is always on the list when compared with other top professional video creation tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas Pro.
Final Cut Pro is only available on Mac. One of the big advantages are that once purchased the upgrades are 100% free of charge. You are able to screen record, should that be a requirement.
You are able to download a free 90-day trial of the latest version of Final Cut Pro.
Professional Video Production
Vegas Pro 365 - $399
Vegas Pro 365 is maybe better known as Sony Vegas Pro, but the name changed after the company Magix bought Vegas Pro from Sony.
If you need a quick and easy, yet professional video editing solution, Vegas is a great platform to use and for this very reason Vegas Pro 365 is the choice for many semi-professional video editors. You also have the ability to screen record.
However, when it comes to certain aspects, for example animation, then Premiere is miles ahead of Vegas.
Vegas Pro 365 allows you to either buy the software outright, or you have the ablity to pay for a monthly subscription. The software is only available on Windows computers.
Overall, Vegas Pro 365 is an excellent video editing software and worth considering alongside Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, depending on your requirements, taste and user experience.
GRAPHIC DESIGN - FREE TOOLS
Canva - Free
Canva is probably one of the most valuable tools listed on this resource page. I use Canva for absolutely everything design related and so many marketers and business owners do as well. Just do a Google keyword research tool search and you will be shocked to see how many people search for Canva on a monthly basis and for very good reason. What shocked me even more was when I started to see a lot of television ads for Canva, just giving you an idea of how massive Canva actually is.
The free version will give you plenty of power, so much so that many people only use the free version for the creation of banners, logos, posters, social media visuals etc.
Saying this, there is also a Canva Pro version as well and Canva Pro absolutely overdelivers. Canva Pro will give you access to a lot of premium stock images, premium video footage, premium elements etc. and it will also allow you to remove the background of stock footage with a click of a button and will also entitle you to advanced editing capability.
Pixlr - Free
When you think Pixlr, think Photoshop, without the price tag. I use Pixlr every single day for my design needs 100% free. This is where I do my cropping, editing and resizing of images. I often use Pixlr and Canva in combination which ticks all the boxes for all of my design needs 100% for free.
RemoveBG - Free
It says it all in the name. Upload any image and this tool will remove the background of any image instantly. Yes of course you can remove the background of images in a tool like Pixlr, but this tool is so convenient as it will just instantly remove the background on upload, without even having to click a button.
