Finally the much anticipated ClickFunnels 2.0 by Russell Brunson is here and ClickFunnels 2.0 is not just an updated version of ClickFunnels 1.0 as such but is a brand new ClickFunnels platform completely built from the ground up. ClickFunnels 1.0 vs 2.0 – What’s the difference?
As already mentioned, ClickFunnels 2.0 is a new and improved version of the ClickFunnels software but do note that as it is built from the ground up this version runs as a separate platform from the already existing ClickFunnels 1.0 version. This means that both versions 1.0 and 2.0 will be available at the same time.
ClickFunnels 1.0 allows the creation of a set of pages to be merged into a single sales funnel. Meanwhile ClickFunnels 2.0 allows you to build your entire website ecosystem in one place which includes the new features such as the visual automation builder, CRM funnels, e-commerce site builder, blog builder and all the other features as already explained above.
One of the biggest drawbacks of ClickFunnels 1.0 is the lack of the universal elements as described above which leads to the constant tedious re-creation of branded footer and headers for each page created. As already explained, this is not the case when it comes to ClickFunnels 2.0 where duplicate items will be automatically applied to all pages.
What Will Happen With ClickFunnels 1.0?
ClickFunnels has no plans to depreciate or get rid of the 1.0 version. According to Todd Dickerson – once you move over to the 2.0 version you will be able to put your 1.0 account on a maintenance plan. This means if the old version is more acceptable to you or you don’t see any point in moving your existing funnels to the new platform, then you can continue to use ClickFunnels 1.0.
Is It Possible To Migrate Funnels From ClickFunnels 1.0 To 2.0?
It is important to know that it is not possible at this point in time to migrate your existing funnels from version 1.0 to version 2.0 automatically. It is still possible but it will have to be done manually.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Conclusion – Pros + Cons
One of the biggest cons are for those that are already using ClickFunnels 1.0 as it will be a very daunting task to manually move all of your funnels built on the ClickFunnels 1.0 platform over to the new ClickFunnels 2.0 platform, as automatic migration is not supported as yet at this point in time.
However, the manual migration process is possible. My suggestion would be, why not perhaps utilise both? You have the option to leave all of your funnels already created on the 1.0 platform exactly where they are and from here onwards you can now start building your new funnels utilising the power of the 2.0 platform. I am sure that eventually ClickFunnels will roll out automatic migration from version 1.0 to 2.0 so if you really have the desire to migrate your funnels on the 1.0 platform to the 2.0 platform, you may want to play the waiting game for now.
The second con I can think of is the price difference. ClickFunnels 2.0 is slightly more expensive than 1.0 but then again it just makes sense to pay a bit more for a brand new software built from the ground up that has so much more functionality and has the best speed performance currently in the funnel building industry.
The third con I can think of is that new software will always come with a couple of bugs here and there that needs to be smoothed out over time. However, from what I have seen thus far ClickFunnels 2.0 is pretty robust, awesome to work with and has a very quick response time.
If you are brand new to ClickFunnels then you have read this article just at the right time as you can start straight away utilising the power of ClickFunnels 2.0 without having to think about previously created funnels on the 1.0 version.
Overall, ClickFunnels 2.0 seems to be a game changer in the funnel building industry and I am perfectly convinced that ClickFunnels 2.0 is going to enjoy a lot of attention from entrepreneurs like yourself from all over the world.

I was also at first oblivious to the importance of funnels until I started to follow the likes of Russell Brunson and Mike Filsaime and then realising that no matter what niche you are in, funnel creation is pretty much the bloodline of any online business and if you choose to ignore it, you and your online business are missing out big time.

I tried to get involved with Clickfunnels a few years ago, but at the time I didn’t have the money to keep going. But, looking at Clickfunnels 2.0, it is interesting that it doesn’t look like it might be as expensive as it used to be, and that it might be better too.
One to think about and add to my list of ideas.

Tom, to the contrary. ClickFunnels 2.0 is a bit more expensive than its predecessor ClickFunnels 1.0 but has way more functionality than its predecessor. So in that sense we can certainly view ClickFunnels 2.0 as a lot more value for money.

ClickFunnels was designed to work with platforms like WordPress etc. in mind. ClickFunnels 2.0 also now has its own blogging platform. It often can be as simple as just adding links in your articles which redirects to the funnel. Pop-up forms and embed codes can also allow for integration with other platforms.
Russell Brunson has been talking about this for awhile, and now it is finally here. We are not able to afford this payment right now, but the research you put into this article is in-depth. The best presentation that we have seen on the new and improved ClickFunnels 2.0 – The sales funnels that drive leads into conversions.

You are perfectly correct that it felt like forever for ClickFunnels 2.0 to be released as they have indeed been speaking about the release of ClickFunnels 2.0 for a very very long time. I think it took a lot more time then they expected to get it ready and they wanted to ensure that the product is pretty much perfect before releasing it to the public. I do applause ClickFunnels for rather playing the waiting game than releasing a product with a lot of bugs to the public as that would have led to even more frustration from its user base and may have tainted ClickFunnel’s reputation.
As they say. Good things are worth waiting for.

Russell Brunson explains nicely in detail and now I would like to ask you a question if anyone has the click funnel version 1.0 and if they want to upgrade to the new version 2.0 is it beneficial to use both versions of the click funnel or just the new version 2.0? maybe this software isn’t exactly for everyone’s budget but it’s definitely worth it if it’s the fastest as you say and you can try a free 30-day trial so everyone can see the pros and cons. Great info about ClickFunnels 2.0. I didn’t quite comprehend what online funnels were about but after viewing the video I now have a better understanding of how they function and their purpose. I am not selling any product of my own right now but I see how Clickfunnels 2.0. would be a great platform to sign up for in the near future! I definitely recommend ClickFunnels 2.0. to anyone. It has so many handy all-in-one tools and essential features (analytics, emails, training, page editing, and SO MUCH MORE!!!…). I believe it is a great investment for whoever wants to succeed in business.
ClickFunnels 2.0 is indeed a much better version of its predecessor. This was a great breakdown on what it offers, Schalk. Russell Brunson is known for putting a LOT of value behind his products, and this is especially true when it comes to ClickFunnels which is very important for him.
I’m glad they took their time and didn’t rush it out the door. It feels like this is a very polished product. If you liked 1.0 then you’re going to fall in love with 2.0.
Even if we can be oblivious to funnels at first, we all need them and should create them. They will increase our sales 10 times or more. As soon as you can afford it, you should give CF a try for a few months. It should help bring more money per user and once you set one funnel up and see how it works and what it can do, you won’t want to go back.
